Volunteer With Us
If you would like to help care for our beautiful horses and ponies, we want to hear from you! We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who can commit at least two hours a week to support the running of the sanctuary.
We have a range of volunteering roles available. They may not be glamorous, but they are essential for keeping the sanctuary running smoothly. Our most important tasks include poo picking, feeding the horses in the morning and evening, putting out hay, filling water troughs and general maintenance.
We also need help running our popular pamper sessions and pony parties, which usually take place at weekends. If you have a background in working with children, we’d love to hear from you.
We also welcome corporate volunteer days, DofE students, work placements, student placements and more. We’re also keen to hear from volunteers with experience in fundraising, social media, marketing or management.
In return for your time, you’ll become part of a brilliant team, and of course you’ll get to work closely with our wonderful ponies.

Please note:
- We require volunteers to commit at least 2 hours each week
- The sanctuary has no public transport links, so access to a vehicle is essential
- We can only take on volunteers over the age of 18, unless they are accompanied by an adult at all times or are completing a DofE placement or other placement.
