Spirit of the Herd
Spirit of the Herd is a not-for-profit horse and pony sanctuary with a difference, based near Helsby, Cheshire. Rescued horses and ponies are rehabilitated, then used to help children, young people and adults who are living with learning or physical disabilities, are lacking in confidence, or are suffering from stress or anxiety.
A Sanctuary for Horses and People
Spirit of the Herd pony sanctuary is a not-for-profit rescue and rehabilitation home for horses and ponies with past issues relating to neglect and physical and mental abuse. Founded it 2018, Spirit of the Herd is currently run by Directors Lesley Harte, Agnieszka Jarecka-Griffiths and Owen Woodfine.
